Karel Verhoeven
Karel Verhoeven (°1982, Ghent) is a Belgian visual artist who graduated graphic and digital design - from the Athlone Institute of Arts and Design in 2003 .
In 2008, he finished a three-year bachelor program theatre, performance and new media studies at University of Ghent.
Currently he is doing a media art - program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent (KASK).
His work includes graphics, drawings and objects, combined video and installation.
In his work he reconstructs, interpretes and transposes social and media-phenomena. Past 5 years Karel exposed a lot in group exhibitions, the next years he makes autonomous work.
